United Way 2-1-1 can help connect Connecticut residents of a city or town to emergency resources when an event occurs.
When a city or town may need to open a shelter or warming center at any point during Winter storms, or shelters and cooling centers during the Summer months or hurricane event, if power is lost, please dial 211 or look for the emergency event banner link at www.211ct.org that will be set up, for a listing or sites in your city/town or a neighboring one.
